Lesbian Pride Flag

Lesbian Pride Flag & Lesbian Flag Meaning

The Lesbian Community Pride Flag, or just Lesbian Pride Flag, was inspired by the earlier Lipstick Lesbian Pride Flag

This design, introduced on social media in 2018, took the pink and red colours from the earlier flag and added a dark orange bar to indicate gender nonconformity.

What Does It Mean to Be Lesbian?

Being lesbian refers to a woman or a person assigned female at birth who is primarily attracted to other women. Lesbian individuals may experience emotional, romantic, and/or sexual attraction to people of the same gender. The term is often used to describe a sexual orientation but can also be an expression of identity, reflecting a person’s self-understanding of their gender and attraction. Lesbian identity is diverse and can encompass a range of experiences, and it plays a significant role in both LGBTI+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex +) history and culture.
