Demisexual Pride Flag

Demisexual Pride Flag & Demisexual Flag Meaning

Demisexuals aren’t totally asexual. They may be sexually attracted to someone, but once they’ve fallen in love.

The Demisexual Pride Flag uses the same colours of the asexual flag. So black represents asexuality, white for non-asexual friends and partners, purple for community, and grey for grey-asexuality.

What Does It Mean to Be Demisexual?

Being demisexual means experiencing sexual attraction only after forming a strong emotional connection with someone. Demisexual individuals typically do not feel sexual attraction to others based solely on physical appearance or initial interactions. Instead, attraction develops over time as a deep emotional bond is built. This identity exists on the asexual spectrum, as demisexuals may not experience sexual attraction unless a specific emotional intimacy is present.
